Ronit’s Expertise

  • Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-oriented modality that transforms lives through healing trauma. Developed by Peter Levine, Ph.D., it is the result of the multidisciplinary study of stress physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics, with more than 45 years of successful application.

Somatic Experiencing aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies. When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE helps us release, recover, and become more resilient.

I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS Parts Work) is a non-pathologizing, spiritual and therapeutic healing technique.

The goal of IFS is to help people identify and accept the different parts of themselves and heal the parts that are wounded.

Through Self-leadership, one can live with more freedom, fulfillment and …fun!

    Level 1 Practitioner

    Additional Trainings:

    • Values & Beliefs in the Therapy Room—Through an IFS Lens - Winter 2024

    • Intimacy From the Inside Out - IFIO Spring 2025

  • I was introduced to the lineage of Intentional Creativity® (IC) during a painting workshop with Shiloh Sophia in 2018. Through this process, I access parts of consciousness that long for expression through color, shape, symbol, and beauty.

I’ve created several collections of paintings, each one a conversation between heart, body, mind and soul.

This practice brings me alive, it’s healing creativity in motion.

I am a certified teacher of Intentional Creativity® and have developed Paint Your Parts, a painting workshop that blends Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing and Intentional Creativity®.

It’s an experience of healing and self-discovery and connection, through color, curiosity and compassion.

  • Before my work with SE and IFS, I founded Healing Arts of Marin and then Community Acupuncture of Marin in the Bay Area of San Francisco.

I bring all my past experience into being the seasoned practitioner I am today.

    I am over 50. ;)

  • I left a full and stable life of 23 years in Northern California. Although I had a successful business, I wanted to pursue other aspects of who I am.

I sold my business and many of my belongings and traveled as a nomad for three years, before landing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Now, after three years, I am again embarking on another journey.

I’ve lived it. I know both the peaks of hope and freedom as well as the challenges and uncertainty of the journey.

  • Human Design is a map of how you were designed to operate. Some people are designed to initiate, others to respond. Knowing your Human Design can be a versatile and applicable tool that is especially useful in understanding how you work, make decisions and process emotions. • Drawn to indigenous wisdom, I studied the Medicine Wheel and traditional shamanic journeying with various teachers. I also spent many years in community with a Native Medicine Woman in Northern California, where I participated in and supported countless ceremonies, including such things as sweat lodges and traditional fasting vision quests.
